Dear Everyone,

I guess I'm writing this because it would be easier for you to read than for me to try and put it into words to your face. And it means I can take breaks to make sure that what I write here is logic rather than simply emotion. Emotion is a good thing sometimes...more than sometimes but when there's nothing behind it...no reason or logic than it becomes...blind. I've been blind for so much of my life that I think I've forgotten what it's like to be in the light.

I guess I want to thank each of you, for each of you, in your own way, have helped me far more than I can ever explain. Yes, Ginger, even you! We are all broken in our own ways and yet somehow we’ve managed to find each other and I like to think I help you too. I try to, more than anything. I know I’m not always the best person in the world to get along with, especially before Charlotte came along and everything was confusing and new.

It’s still confusing and new even though Charlotte is now five, but we manage don’t we?

I’ve done things I’m not proud of, I’ve hurt people, I’ve watched people suffer and whilst I’ve never believed in his ideals, and had I not loved Bellatrix I would never have taken the Mark, but the fact is I did, and I have done these things. I regret hurting your family before I even knew you, I know this now, I guess I always did but I was always too proud to admit it. Charlotte’s second name was the olive branch I had been waiting so long to give.

Am I even making sense? I guess there’s still so much I’ve left unsaid.
